It's the white player's turn. The white player moves the square piece with the triangle symbol one square downward into the empty space.

The red player moves the circular piece with the circle symbol diagonally into the empty square, creating a new empty square where the piece was previously located.

The white player moves the square piece with the X symbol one square down into the empty space.

The red player moves the circular piece with the triangle symbol one square to the left into the empty space.

The red Ace (the circular piece with the triangle symbol) joins the three red Relay pieces to form the Diamond pattern, scoring 1 point for the red player.

After the red player scores the Diamond pattern, the white player must break it before taking their turn. The Ace (the piece that completed the pattern) cannot be moved. Instead, the white player must move one of the three Relay pieces to any empty square on the board. During the break, the normal movement rules do not apply.
In this example, the white player breaks the pattern by moving the red circular piece with the circle symbol up to the empty square above. The white player then takes their turn by moving the white square piece with the square symbol one square down into the empty space. Play then passes to the red player.
