The Placement
White Square Pieces
Place the four White square pieces first, following the zigzag sequence shown in the diagram: Circle, Triangle, Square, and X.
White Circle Pieces
Next, place the four White circle pieces in the remaining designated spaces, following the same zigzag sequence.
Red Square Pieces
Place the four Red square pieces, following the zigzag sequence shown in the diagram: Circle, Triangle, Square, and X.
Red Circle Pieces
Finally, place the four Red circle pieces in the remaining designated spaces, following the same zigzag sequence to complete the starting position.
White & Red Pieces
After both players have placed all of their pieces, the board should match the illustrated starting position.
