In this example, the White Square piece bearing the Triangle symbol performs a Vault by jumping over the Red Circle piece bearing the Square symbol and landing in the vacant space beyond. A Vault is a special move that allows a Triangle or Square piece to jump over one opposing piece while following its normal movement directions. Each player is granted one optional Vault per game, which may be used with either a Triangle or a Square piece, but not both. If not used, the Vault is forfeited at the end of the game.

In this example, the White Square piece bearing the Triangle symbol performs a Vault by jumping over the Red Circle piece bearing the Square symbol to complete the Cross pattern and score one point. A Vault, however, does not have to be used for scoring. It may be used to escape, improve position, block an opponent, or for any other strategic purpose. Each player is granted one optional Vault per game, which may be performed by either a Triangle-bearing piece or a Square-bearing piece—but not both. Once used, the Vault is unavailable for the remainder of that game.
